Boost Your Small Business: A Small Biz Digital Trainers Workshop Series In today’s digital age, having a robust online presence and effective business practices are crucial for growth and success in the real world – especially for small businesses. Our upcoming four-part workshop series is designed to equip Main Street businesses with the knowledge and tools needed to thrive both online and in the community. From August through November, small business owners and the Main Street leaders that support them are invited to join these free workshops every third Thursday of the month. taying Rooted Through Growth with Kristin Smith, The Wrigley Appalachian Eatery In this week’s episode of Main Street Business Insights, Matt sat down with Kristin Smith, chef and proprietor of The Wrigley Appalachian Eatery in Corbin, Kentucky. Since launching The Wrigley, the business has been featured in Time Magazine and The Food Network, and Kristin landed a spot on the James Beard Foundation’s Women Entrepreneurial Leadership group in 2023. But outside of the national acclaim they’ve received, Kristin and her team’s primary objective is to stay rooted in their local community. In their conversation, Kristin talks about her deep roots in Appalachia and small-town business ownership, her strong belief in authentic community building, and why she’s saying “no” more often these days.
