Fall Sundays on Stage BCLS invites you to enjoy an exciting schedule of free performances at the Burlington County Library this fall! Beginning in September, you’ll find talented artists performing live in the library auditorium on select Sunday afternoons. Jam out to the songs of Santana with Edgardo Cintron and the INCA Band, be captivated by the Afro-Caribbean dances of Roxey Ballet, and more! All performances begin at 2 pm and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. (Please note: The library auditorium has a strict seating capacity of 250.) Be sure to mark your calendar, then swing by, grab a seat, and spend your Sunday afternoon with us! |
Get Ready to Vote! Election Day is coming quickly! Make sure you’re registered and ready to vote with help from these voting events at the Burlington County Library: League of Women Voters Registration Event, Sept. 8 & 15 from 1 pm – 4 pm The League of Women Voters will be on hand to assist with voter registration as well as answer questions to help you prepare to properly cast your vote. National Voter Registration Day, Sept. 17 from 10 am – 12 pm & 5 pm – 8pm Come meet representatives from both NAACP and the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority. Whether you are just starting to learn about voting registration or you have been taking part for years, everyone can use a little help getting their friends, family and broader community registered to vote. Get Ready to Vote, Sept. 19 at 11 am (registration required) Burlington County Library, in partnership with AARP, will be hosting a class that will aid voters on how to complete mail-in ballots, register for early voting, and become accustomed to casting their vote with the new voting machines. |
