From the Chief’s Desk: Lemonade Tasting Task Force Update
I want to give a shout-out to our officers who were hard at work today with the Mount Holly Police Department’s Lemonade Tasting Task Force (LTTF)
After receiving reports of another neighborhood lemonade stand in operation, the Task Force responded to conduct a full quality assurance inspection. I’m pleased to report that after evaluating taste, refreshment, customer service, and overall lemonade excellence, the stand officially earned the coveted LTTF “Certified Fresh” designation! 
The young entrepreneurs behind today’s operation passed with flying colors. Their enthusiasm, work ethic, and business sense even gave our officers a run for their money during the price negotiations!
While this post is meant to bring a smile, it also highlights something we value deeply at the Mount Holly Police Department. Taking time to engage with our residents, especially our youngest ones, is what community policing is all about. These small moments create lasting relationships and build trust that extends far beyond a simple glass of lemonade.
If you see (or even suspect) a suspicious lemonade stand operating in Mount Holly and would like it inspected by our Lemonade Tasting Task Force, be sure to give us a call! Our highly trained officers are always on the lookout for the next stand worthy of earning the official LTTF “Certified Fresh” seal of approval. No stand is too small, no lemonade too cold, and no entrepreneur too young to receive a visit from the Task Force!
