Learn more about the start of our democracy on Wednesday, April 16th at 10 AM & at 6:30 PM at the Lyceum of Natural History & Natural Sciences under the direction of the curator, Mrs. Marissa Bozarth. The parade with the County Commissioners marking this moment in our local history as they place two lanterns on our historic County Courthouse. :
Then join County historian, Eric Orange, and place 2 lanterns at your home and businesses just like our forefathers did to announce the arrival of the British to the colonies in 1775 and the beginning of the American Revolution on the evening of April 18th into 19th!
