This is one of our favorite stories from the American Revolutionin Burlington County. In November of 1777, the Marquise de Lafayette Nathanial Greene and 3,000 American soldiers were in Mount Holly. With them was surgeon Albigence Waldo, a legend in American History wrote this about our town:
