| Chili Cook-off at the Fire & Ice Festival, Saturday January 27, 2024, 10 AM-2:30 PM The Fire & Ice Festival features the best professional chili cooks around vying for the Award for the finest chili in Burlington County. Stop in The Union Firehouse on Saturday to choose your favorite! $250 First Prize for Best Chili, Chili Trophy and bragging rights for 2024 as the winner of the contest, $100 prize for most creative presentation and $100 People’s Choice Award. All chefs and their chili must be from a restaurant, caterer, church, or community group with a commercial kitchen in order to participate. There will be a nominal $3 a person charge to the public for tasting the chili. This will help us to cover award money for the contest. Set-up will be at 9:30 am. Judges will arrive at 11am to taste and judge the chili. The general public will be admitted starting at Noon. Usually, the chili is all gone by 2pm.  |
